Alan Nunn (Opinion, May 25) wrote about the shame of Brighton and Hove having a flourishing gay community, which contributes much to our city's prosperity and is something to be celebrated.
Mr Nunn's criticisms tell us more about him than anything else. I am proud to be gay and living in Brighton.
