Police today said they were investigating new lines of inquiry into the unsolved murder of a 12-year-old boy.
A £10,000 reward is being offered by Sussex Police to catch the killers of Keith Lyon who was stabbed to death 34 years ago.
A call from an Argus reader and two others to last night's BBC Crimewatch programme produced "very interesting" results, according to senior police.
Detective Inspector Bill Warner, heading the day-to-day inquiries, said: "Two of the people provided us with the same name of a person. We are delighted with the response and we are now actively pursuing these lines of inquiry."
Keith, the son of the late band leader Ken Lyon, was attacked on downland in Brighton in 1967 as he walked from his home in Ovingdean to shops at Woodingdean.
