Owners of Brighton's highly acclaimed vegetarian restaurant, Terre a Terre, have taken another step in their commitment to the environment, by switching to green electricity.

Ecotricity is Europe's first environmentally-friendly power company, only supplying electricity generated from sources that are more sustainable than conventional fuels.

Currently supplying to the commercial sector, Ecotricity is launching a service for domestic customers later this year.

The restaurant feat-ures in various food guides including The Good Food Guide and The Red Guide from Michelin.

Phillip Taylor and Amanda Powley, the owners, are writing a cookery book featuring the restaurant's most popular recipes.

Their commitment to environmental issues is represented in the restaurant itself, with a full vegetarian and vegan menu and a selection of organic wines, beers and ciders.
