Congratulations, Micky Adams, on your success over the past two years.

But why do you have to blot your copybook? You have let yourself down and you have let the fans down. The players have let themselves down.

Oh, come on, admit it - champions do not lose 0-3 as the Albion have done. Their away record is not consistent enough. The early part of the season could have been a disaster.

In the home game with Kidderminster they just didn't play. Recently, you have said you're happy for a point. No good manager would accept anything less than three points.

The last two games were an embarrassment - they couldn't even score. The Football Association could, and should, fine you for deliberately fielding a weakened team. You will not get as many opportunities in the Second Division.

Now have you the guts to say, once and for all "Zamora is not for sale at any price"? Furthermore, you will need to buy a "Tommy Lawton" (remember him?) to play alongside Zamora. You will need them both.

You have got to be more ruthless. You are too lenient. Next season, warn all players before a match: "If you see me standing on the touchline, improve - or a head will roll."

Go for it, Mick, and good luck.
