Albion have got their knickers in a twist for Comic Relief.

The pants pictured is one of a pile belonging to ten members of staff.

Lucky fans who can match the pants to their owners could win a VIP day out at Withdean for the Seagulls' clash against Mansfield later this month.

The ten caught with their pants down are: boss Micky Adams, assistant Bob Booker, director of youth Martin Hinshelwood, youth team coach Dean Wilkins, physio Malcolm Stuart plus players Mark Cartwright, Lee John-son, Nathan Jones, Charlie Oatway and Matt Wicks.

Some of the briefs were donated without the knowledge of their owners.

It should be fun finding out who, for example, dares to wear the sexy thong labelled as pair No. 9!

The pants are currently on display in the ticket office at 5 Queens Road, Brighton.

The entry with the most correct answers wins two North Stand tickets for the Mansfield match on March 31, hospitality passes, a buffet meal and the chance to meet some of the players.

Entries can be made on a form from the ticket office or by post, with a minimum £1 donation, to The Comic Relief Competition, Brighton and Hove Albion, Hanover House, 118 Queens Road, Brighton BN1 3XG.

You must include your name and address. Cheques should be made payable to Comic Relief 2001.

The closing date is 4pm on Friday 23 and the winner will be announced on the club's internet site the following Monday.
