Two men have pleaded not guilty to murdering a 64-year-old who was found dead in his flat.
Richard Price, 24, of Denmark Terrace, and Richard Sumner, 35, of Grand Parade, both in Brighton, both deny murdering William John Carmichael.
Irish-born Mr Carmichael was found dead in his top floor flat in Lower Rock Gardens, Kemp Town, Brighton, on November 14 last year.
Price and Sumner were remanded in custody following a brief hearing at Lewes Crown Court yesterday and will appear before a judge again on May 4.
