There were plenty of bizarre stunts in Sussex to celebrate Comic Relief and Red Nose Day with its theme of saying Pants to Poverty.

One of the strangest was outside Bar Centro in Ship Street, Brighton, where 1,500 teddy bears were strung together to form a huge pair of pants to hang from the building.

They were then flung off the top by rope and parachute before being auctioned. The pants disappeared swiftly, leaving the bar bear.
