Sammy Donnelly and at least one member of his Worthing board will face the music at a fans' forum tonight at 8pm.

Rebels have won just one of their last 16 games and fans have expressed concern about the loss of several key players.

It promises to be a lively evening in the Rebels Tavern, though director Matthew Major stressed: "We have these periodically so it is not an emergency meeting.

"But it is an important one because we have not been playing to our potential recently."

Rebels' directors have revealed they are contributing £10,000 from their own pocket to support the playing budget.

A club statement said: "We decided to put £10,000 in two weeks ago to support the current playing budget to the end of the season.

"This is further evidence, if any were needed, of the board's support for the manager and its commitment to progress further up the non-league ladder."
