A Peacehaven man has appeared before magistrates charged with murdering his wife.
The case of Robert Clifford Anscombe, 45, was transferred to Lewes Crown Court where he will appear on March 22.
He was remanded in custody by Lewes magistrates yesterday.
His 40-year-old wife, Debbie Anscombe, was found dead in the bedroom of the couple's home in Cissbury Avenue, Peacehaven, on March 1.
