I must correct Martin Webb's comment on the opening of a new gay club in Brighton (Argus, February 1): "We expect to open in August with Brighton's first major gay nightclub."
Club Revenge has been running successfully for almost 10 years and is Brighton's major gay nightclub.
It has its own web site and is well known all over the world on the gay scene. The club opens six nights a week and has contributed greatly to Brighton's night life.
The club has also put a lot back into the community, notably raising a fantastic sum of money for local charities, including the Argus Appeal.
