I am not surprised that Peter Light and others had difficulty in buying tickets for the adult panto. Every year it's the same.
I rang on Tuesday January 2 and was told that nothing was decided, call again. When I rang on Thursday lunchtime, they were nearly sold out.
I did manage to get tickets but, as usual, only the worst seats were left.
As a Friend of The Theatre Royal I do not expect priority but I don't expect to be shunted aside either.
Graham Sykes should remember that it is also important not to offend 'regulars', who support the theatre all year round.
Having said that, I would like to thank the cast, crew and staff for giving their time freely to put on a unique event in aid of charity. It could only happen in Brighton.
I can't wait. (Oh, yes I can).
