After tarting up Queens Road, Brighton and Hove councillors want to rename it Ocean Boulevard. In view of the recent climatic changes, they may be tempting fate. At the gala re-naming ceremony, I can visualise members of the D'Oyly Carte Opera company riding on Roger French's newly converted Aqua Buses and singing The Gondoliers as they journey downstream to the terminus moorings at Pool Valley.
