Albion boss Micky Adams has labelled Bobby Zamora as "priceless".

And he has warned clubs watching the Seagulls' wonder boy £750,000 "wouldn't buy his right boot."

Zamora headed his 16th goal of the season in Saturday's FA Cup exit at Scunthorpe.

The £100,000 buy from Bristol Rovers has bagged an amazing 22 goals in 30 games overall for Albion.

Scouts from Premiership and First Division clubs, including Bolton and Wimbledon, have flocked to see Zamora's last two appearances.

Adams refuses to put a price on the head of the 19-year-old hotshot, but Adams told the Argus: "It would be stupid if I say he is not for sale and then we sell him.

"We don't want to sell Bobby and he isn't for sale, but you should never say never.

"I am not going to put a price on him. For us he is priceless.

"I read in one paper £750,000. That wouldn't buy his right boot."

If they receive a bid Albion's thinking will be affected by the 30 per cent sell on clause negotiated by Bristol Rovers when Zamora signed a four-year contract in August.

Meanwhile, Darren Freeman believes Zamora will bounce back from his late red card at Scunthorpe, which rules him out of the Boxing Day game at Barnet.

Freeman, sent off twice himself last season, said: "Everyone makes mistakes and I think Bobby will bounce back well from this.

"We will obviously miss him, but I am sure he has learnt his lesson."
