I finally visited the Millennium Dome and thank goodness I didn't leave it any longer.
There has been so much hostile publicity I was almost embarrassed to admit it was on my list of places to visit. However, the whole day was exhilarating, inspiring, informative and memorable.
I am writing to implore any of your readers who have missed out on this amazing day to head off to Greenwich before the Dome closes on New Year's Eve.
Brighton and Hove is undoubtedly the place to be, but the Dome is certainly the place to visit before we greet 2001.
