I was saddened to read of Mrs Posener's dilemma concerning facilities available in Brighton and Hove for entertaining children with autism, hyperactivity and challenging behaviour (Opinion, December 7).

Social inclusion for all is an issue that should not only be tackled by councils and governments, but also addressed at a grassroots level by companies within the local vicinity, who can make a real difference by striving to offer full access to differently abled members of our community.

I would like to invite Mrs Posener to bring her son and a friend for a day out at Brighton Pier, where we will be delighted to offer unlimited rides on the fairground and can guarantee the staff would be delighted to welcome them.
