I was saddened to learn of the death of artist Jim Miller. My collaboration with him lasted more than five years, during which time he illustrated about 40 of my poems and letters.
His sense of humour ran riot through the cartoons, which were so complementary to the subject and it was sheer pleasure to work alongside him.
When I look back through my scrapbook, I am taken back to those vintage years and tickled pink by the talent of a fine Argus artist.
My sympathies go out to his family.
