If reports are true, the Countryside Alliance, in return for new investment in rural Britain, has eventually come to an agreement with the Government to co-operate in the abolition of blood sports.
It can only reinforce one's belief in the advantages of consensus politics rather than the "yah-boo" style we see in Parliament.
