It is hard to define what makes Disney products so good but its Winnie the Pooh Learning Software meets all the criteria.
Designed for children from ages one and a half to six years of age, the three Winnie the Pooh titles are visually stimulating and very easy to use.
Despite its target market, this software would appeal to much older children and even a few daft adults. I found myself (momentarily) wishing for a small child to share the fun but came to my senses just in time.
The games are all bright and colourful while the Winnie the Pooh theme translates beautifully into a multimedia environment.
I particularly liked the way letters, numbers and shapes were used as part of a toddler game to get Pooh and his friends down from a "very high place".
Everything was very easy to use and comfortably educational.
Truthfully, I couldn't find a downside to this software. It installed properly, ran well and did everything Disney promised. What more could anyone want?
