Textbridge Pro Millennium software includes an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) package licensed by Microsoft.
It claims to be productive straight from the box.
But after a simple install, I hit my first snag shortly afterwards.
The software was apparently not compatible with my bog-standard Epson scanner.
Eventually, after some furious clicking of buttons and strong language, I got it all to work.
When I had sufficiently calmed down, I was pleasantly surprised to find how easy it all was to use.
That said, this software is probably not for the beginner. But for the price it does offer good overall value for money.
Textbridge Pro Millennium would suit an office environment very nicely.
