The recent comments from various chief constables concerning cannabis raise many questions. However, there should be no question of legalising cannabis until there is in place a reliable drug-drive testing device similar to the drink-drive apparatus currently in operation.
Today's roads are dangerous enough without allowing people in a cannabis-induced state of euphoria loose on them.
