We have opened a small independent record shop in St George's Road and are worried the draft Local Plan Brighton and Hove Council is putting forward (Argus, October 13), which fails to designate parts of Kemp Town as a shopping area, will leave our area off the map and sidelined.
Like many other shop owners around here, we put all our energy into creating an exciting place to shop. You won't find any high street chain stores, but you will find an enjoyable mix of antiques, aromatherapies, clothing and collectables which should put us firmly on any shopping map of The Place to Be.
