A woman has appeared before magistrates charged with the murder of her teenage son.
Alex Wessell, 13, was found dead at the family home in Mayfield Close, Findon, last Thursday.
Lesley Wessell, 42, appeared before Worthing magistrates today charged with murder on a date between September 17 and 22.
Mrs Wessell spoke only to confirm her name, address and date of birth during the five-minute hearing.
She was remanded in custody at Holloway Prison and will reappear before the court on October 19 for committal to crown court.
No application was made for bail.
