An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a body near Worthing today.
Police were called to the two-storey house in Mayfield Close, Findon, at about 9.30am following a 999 call.
Detectives are treating the death as suspicious and inquiries are continuing.
The outside of the house has been sealed off and forensic experts began a fingertip search of the building this morning.
The identity of the victim are not yet known, though police confirmed it was the body of a male.
The quiet road, which is lined with bungalows and small houses, was deserted this morning and detectives plan to make house-to-house inquiries later today.
