I was alarmed to read the recent article about Steven Ransom's book on AIDS (Argus, July 19). Does he really believe those with the HIV virus do not get AIDS?
If you read the newspapers or watch the news it is obvious there are people who have both conditions. Or does the media stage these pictures?
Some of the drugs used to combat HIV and AIDS may cause bad side effects, but how can he argue it's these drugs which actually kill people? If that is the case, why not close all sexual health departments and save the money?
