Eagles must bounce back from their cup defeat at the hands of Wolverhampton when they take on Belle Vue tomorrow.

Arlington had become something of a fortress this season until Wolves blew the house down in Eastbourne's last home match.

The Sussex squad could have done without Wednesday's rain-off at Poole, and Eastbourne boss Jon Cook will tolerate nothing less than a convincing display now against the league's bottom team.

Eagles despatched Belle Vue 55-35 earlier in the season, but the Aces have started to find their feet since then with draws at Poole and Wolverhampton and their first win against Peterborough.

Peter Nahlin and John Jorgensen have gone, but Kaj Laukkanen has run into form, while Glenn Cunningham has joined the survival fight and Magnus Zetterstrom will soon be on his way to Belle Vue.

In the meantime, the Aces are likely to use rider replacement for Nahlin and track a guest rider at reserve.

Eastbourne: Martin Dugard, Dean Barker, David Norris, Paul Hurry, Joe Screen, Petri Kokko, Brent Collyer.

Belle Vue: Rider replacement, Kaj Laukanen, Andy Smith, Glenn Cunningham, Jason Lyons, A.N. Other, Kevin Doolan.

The start is at 7.30.
