James Bond stuntgirl Sarah Donohue will be showing off her enthusiasm for boats as a competitor in the Newhaven Marina Powerboat Grand Prix later this month.
The 28-year-old doubled for Italian film star Maria Grazia Cucinotta in the last 007 movie, The World is Not Enough, and is competing in the powerboat racing competition despite a recent crash.
Sarah, who also models, was trapped under her boat when it overturned during a European Championship race in Italy last year.
She was trapped for several minutes while fellow competitors tried to release her. Eventually she was dragged free but was unconscious, battered and without a pulse.
Having recovered, she is now joining her partner Ricky Hill in the Newhaven event on Sunday, July 16.
She said: "There is no other feeling quite like powerboat racing and I am really looking forward to entertaining the crowds.
"Having had a look around the newly revamped marina, I think it is the perfect setting for the launch of this major powerboat event."
The grand prix has been organised by the United Kingdom Offshore Boating Association.
The 50-mile race will see larger boats reach speeds of up to 80 miles-per-hour.
Spectators should assemble on the West Beach.
