I completely disagree with Monica Truman's opinions regarding the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Like me, there are many fans of motorsport in this country and others who enjoy events such as this.

The accident occurred due to the driver suffering a heart attack and this shows no reflection on the level of safety at the circuit.

This is a large event in the South that attracts many visitors into the area which increases income to many local businesses.

The car plant will also provide many new jobs in the area and keeps the tradition of car making in Britain alive.
