It is time law-abiding citizens demanded their right to live in a crime-free society. We should be able to walk the streets without fear of mugging, harassment, insults or witnessing antisocial behaviour.
We're entitled not to have our buildings covered in mindless graffiti, our streets strewn with bottles, cans and rubbish.
Society's tolerance of petty crime, yobbish behaviour, public drunkenness and general incivility has gone far enough.
It's time for the pendulum to swing the other way, back towards civility, lawfulness, and respect for other people.
