I read recently somebody suggested Hove should be removed from the name of the football club. Excellent idea - after all Hove dropped Brighton from the name of its greyhound track. On the day Hove's name is dropped from Brighton and Hove Council the job will be complete; no more embarrassment for Hove for being associated with Brighton.
