SCOTT Welch has turned down a £50,000 offer from his former promoter Frank Warren to lure him out of retirement.
The ex-Shoreham heavyweight wants £100,000 to fight giant Russian Vladimir Klitschko, the European champion.
"If they offered me good money I would think about it," said Welch.
"I am not really interested in a comeback at all, but if I was offered £100,000 I couldn't turn that down. They have only offered half that and I am not really fussed. I am doing other things and I have no real inclination to fight again."
Former world title challenger Welch quit the ring last summer after losing to Julius Francis. Francis went on to fight Mike Tyson before relinquishing his British crown to Michael Holden.
