Police are appealing for information after a man was found dead at the wheel of his car in Yapton.
The 52-year-old was travelling south in Bilsham Road when he pulled his BMW car onto a grass verge and stopped. Passers-by saw him slumped against the wheel and called an ambulance but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the car was involved in a separate incident earlier in the day when his car collided with a wall in Gladstone Road. No one was injured.
A post-mortem is due to be held today to establish the cause of death and the man is not being identified until relatives have been informed.
