Two armed robbers threatened staff at a jewellers with a shotgun before making off with cash and jewellery.
The men burst into Nicholas and Co, in Queensway, Bognor, just after 4pm yesterday and said they would shoot the cashiers if they did not give them money.
They handed over a large amount of jewellery and cash and the two robbers ran out of the back of the shop into the Safeway car park.
Terrifying
Members of the public spotted them loading the goods, worth several thousand pounds, into a hatchback car.
A police spokesman said: "It must have been a
terrifying ordeal for the staff.
"We are extremely keen to track down these men."
The first man was smartly dressed in a dark pinstripe suit and the second wore a beige hooded top.
