A MAN was taken to
hospital suffering from chest pains after being robbed at a cashpoint machine.
The victim was withdrawing money from the Halifax Building Society in Harold Place, Hastings, at 7.20pm last night.
A police spokesman said: "The victim was extremely shocked and suffered chest pains shortly after being robbed.
"An ambulance was called and he was taken to the Conquest Hospital for heart treatment." He was being examined by
doctors today.
The attacker is of Afro-Caribbean appearance, aged between 25 and 30 and about 6ft. He was wearing a green bomber jacket, green combat trousers and black boots.
