CRIMEWATCH crews were today filming a reconstruction of events surrounding the murder in Worthing of pensioner Jean Barnes, 87, in an effort to catch her killer.
She was found battered to death in her home in Tennyson Road on July 26 and, more than three months later, police are still looking for clues.
One suspect was
eliminated from their inquiries after more than 200 people responded to a Crimewatch appeal last month.
Police and well-wishers have put up a £20,000 reward for information leading to the capture
of reclusive Miss Barnes' murderer.
A Cambridge modern languages graduate, Miss Barnes was a wartime translator who lived her last days in virtual solitude.
The reconstruction will be shown on Crimewatch next Tuesday.
