STUART Storer has joined Albion's crippling casualty list for tomorrow's match against Leyton Orient.

The experienced winger gashed a knee in training.

He needed five stitches in the knee wound, which will rule him out for a week.

Physio Malcolm Stuart revealed: "It was a freak accident. He fell across Richie Barker's boot.

"It didn't damage the tracksuit bottoms at all, but it split the knee right open.

"Two inches higher or lower and he would have got away with it, but he has got to keep the leg straight for five to seven days."

Albion are already without injured trio Mark Walton, Jeff Minton and Rod Thomas, plus the suspended Ian Culverhouse, Gary Hart and Paul Sturgess.

Storer will also miss the visit to Scunthorpe a week tomorrow through suspension.
