JULIE Pullin from Hove continued her good progress in the LTA 25k dollar Satellite at Redbridge by reaching the semi-finals.
Pullin had a convincing 6-2, 6-2 victory over Martina Sucha from Slovakia and will now face Warwickshire's Louise Latimer today for a place in the final.
Latimer has been playing very well recently and is only a few places below Pullin on the World Ranking lists so this could prove to be a close and exciting encounter.
There was no such luck for Worthing's Martin Lee in the Futures tournament at the David Lloyd Club at Eastbourne as he went down 6-3, 6-2 to Regis Lavergane from France.
Both Pullin, who is partnered by Surrey's Lorna Woodroffe at Redbridge and Lee, with Warwickshire's Jamie Delgado at Eastbourne, are still in the doubles events
