LEWES maintained their perfect away record and kept alive their hopes of the National Division One title.

They won 5-2 at St Albans with brothers Jeremy and Alistair Boyse scoring two apiece.

And there's a great chance to increase the pressure at the top on Sunday when lowly Hull visit Sussex.

Jeremy Boyse made the breakthrough on 22 minutes, smashing in the rebound when his initial flick was saved.

St Albans equalised, but two goals in the last four minutes of the half gave Lewes a commanding lead.

Jeremy Boyse flicked the first from a narrow angle, then Andy Cook won a short corner from which Alistair Boyse struck.

St Albans were back to 3-2 after the break before a well rehearsed short corner move set up Alistair Boyse's second.

Simon Owen rounded things off a minute from time after great work by Luke Hurle.
