CHART toppers 911 made a top-secret visit to Brighton yesterday to film their new video.

The three-strong boy band - Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable and Spike Dawbarn - spent the day on location by the seafront in Madeira Drive.

They were filming the video to their latest release, a cover version of the Bee Gees' classic More Than A Woman.

The trip was kept a secret tomake it easier for the boys to get on with their work - they are often mobbed by hordes of adoring teenagers.

Nevertheless several youngsters got a glimpse of their idols and watched the filming from the beach.

Lee, who was sporting a brand new hairdo and a suntan from a week in Marbella told the Argus: "We wanted the video to have a seaside feel and we thought the weather would be nice down here so we chose to come here.

"In the video itself, everyone goes to a club and has a party. It's just about having a good time."

Lee revealed that director Phil Griffin was shootingtheir video in black and white and that they were having to mime at double speed.

He explained: "It was the director's idea. The end result will mean our lips move in time to the song but ourbodies will be moving in slow motion."

The band filmed their video for the single Love Sensation in Brighton last year and are always keen to come back.

Lee, who is from Carlisle, added: "I like it down here. I'd come here for a weekend to get away from it all."

In the video the band are seen arriving at the seafront in a limousine but later play around in a Citroen 2CV half way up the rock face.
