SALSA dancer Danny J is joining stars Tessa Sanderson, Roger Black and Gladiator Falcon at a top health show in London this weekend.

Danny, 35, of Cliff Road, Brighton, has been invited to star at the Ideal Health Show at the capital's Olympia venue.

His unique dance classes which combine keep fit aerobics with salsa dancing have taken Brighton by storm.

Super-fit Danny, a physical trainer with the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment, teaches salsa steps at leisure centres.

And in the evening he puts salsa fans through their paces at Brighton nightspots including The Paradox and the Ocean Rooms.

Now Danny's popular style has won him an invitation to perform at the new health show which is being televised.

Danny said: "I'm really looking forward to it. I hope I get spotted and get a job out of it. "There are loads of very good salsa dancers but most of them can only teach in nightclubs because they have no physical education qualification. Because I am a PT teacher, I can work in health clubs and leisure centres. I think that is why I have been picked to appear."
