In reply to Jerry Swift's letter concerning the London to Brighton bike ride (The Argus, June 27),
I would like to say I cycle all over Brighton and Hove and indeed further afield, sometimes to Worthing and Shoreham. My car stays in my garage and I only use it once or twice a week.
The freedom of cycling, even in a large town, is unrivalled
