The Argus Appeal has sponsored a community bus.
Money raised by The Argus Appeal has gone towards the bus to help transport pensioners from around Brighton and Hove to and from the Somerset Day Centre in Lavender Street, Kemp Town.
Debbie Mallard, one of the community transport organiser, thanked The Argus for sponsoring the bus.
The vehicle will give older people the chance to get out and socialise rather than being stuck at home.
The Argus Appeal raises funds for those in need in our community and welcomes applications from Sussex-based individuals and organisations looking for support.
