I shall continue to vote Labour (despite the follies of Tony Blair) because I share many of the party's values and because my local MP is admirable.
Yet I do respect the Queen. Pity about Prince Charles' marital misconduct but I have no doubt he'll prove a competent king.
And Camilla ought to become princess then queen. Our constitutional monarchy is vastly preferable to a republic.
