The Parking scheme to be introduced around Queens Park will further damage local businesses.
Admittedly, a scheme was required. Parking restrictions used to be only nine to five, Monday to Friday. Why did the hierachy in Brighton and Hove council agree to implement 9am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday?
It is an awful joke and apart from damaging local traders, it isn't going to be very nice for residents who wish to have car-driving visitors between six to eight pm or during the day on Saturdays.
