The simple solution at Braypool would be to design the new park-and-ride car park to include a lovely green walkway around its edge and through the middle, together with well-placed trees to shade the cars and as an attraction for the dogs.
Another major benefit would be the provision of a fantastic new frequent public transport link right to the RSPCA's front door, improving its accessibility for thousands of people in the city.
The RSPCA could even use the car park for its annual open day rather than forcing motorists to park on the grassed playing field where the dogs walk.
