Yet again, on a freezing cold morn, I was subjected to what you might loosely call a "bus service" - the 28 to Lewes/Uckfield.

Although it is a busy cross-county route, Stagecoach runs a Trumpton-sized bus which holds just 25 passengers seated and eight standing.

How can this company run such a "service" without any apparent comeback? Why can't it just run a single or even double-decker? There is obviously the demand. Or skip Falmer - students are well served as it is with the number 25 service.

Those who remember the 729 laughed aloud when it was featured some years ago on Britain's Worst... (in this case journeys). Well, I can say things have not improved.
