Sussex's Matt Prior continued his good form on the England A tour with his second half-century in yesterday's win over UAE in Sharjah.
The wicketkeeper-batsman followed his 84 in the second match by top-scoring with 56 as the tourists sneaked home by one wicket with five balls to spare to g 3-0 up in the four-match series.
Prior put on 71 with Vikram Solanki for the first wicket but England lost wickets regularly after that and they needed an unbeaten 11 from Sajid Mahmood to see them home.
Khuram Khan made 70 and also took 4-27 for UAE. England play another game in Sharjah tomorrow before they move on to Sri Lanka for the serious business. Their first match is a three-day game with Sri Lanka A on Monday.
