Is this a record? It is 3am, pitch black, blowing and raining, but above all this, I can hear the birds singing away. It is absolutely beautiful and a sign spring is on the way - but it's only January.
I have also seen lots of catkins along the side of the A27 between Portslade and Hollingbury.
What a boost for a winter day.
