Don a pair of oversized lace cuffs and utter a series of gleeful sexual exclamations.

The International Band Of Mystery prepare to take you on a shagadelic tour of the world of Austin Powers.

This spoof is the brainchild of Guy "Danger" Garrett (he, naturally, gets to be Powers) who decided one day he'd like to "put on a wig and have a laugh".

He was joined by eight musicians and dancers from the Brighton area who had earned their tribute credentials in various Abba cover bands and soon it became possible to book Dr Evil, Goldmember and Felicity Shagwell for your wedding.

Featuring a swinging, live band and deliciously randy choreography (exempting Dr Evil, that is, who has to be told not to dance "because if he gets into his own funky groove he doesn't look like Dr Evil"), the set combines songs from the films with some Powered-up versions of retro hits. I Believe In Miracles, for instance, sees Garrett strip down to his Union Jack boxer shorts.

"I'm actually a singer-songwriter and spent a couple of years going to tiny pubs and playing to people who weren't really interested," says Garrett.

"It was the serious, depressed, mid-life crisis stuff - shoe-gazers extraordinaire. I thought there had to be more fun in life than this.

"And being Austin Powers has been so much fun I haven't written an original tune since."
