As we celebrate with our families and friends, let us spare a thought for those who will be alone at Christmas and I hope you will join me in remembering those who work in the public services.
Let us also remember our servicemen and women who are serving our country with distinction all over the world.
The great certainties of the Christmas message and the time we can spend with our families are a tremendous encouragement at this time of the year.
