This little boy was thrilled to get an early Christmas gift from The Argus Appeal.
Jacob Towner, five, got a shiny new LCD mobile phone thanks to the generosity of donations from the charity's supporters.
Jacob, from Mayfield Avenue, Peacehaven, is partially blind and loves to play with the flip-top handset and listen to it play music. It also flashes bright lights he can see.
When The Argus received a letter from a friend of Jacob's family begging readers to donate a used handset, The Argus Appeal stepped in.
Grandfather Frank Towner, 64, said: "Jacob has the best phone in the family now.
"He was always pinching his mum's and his grandma's but now he is over the moon."
Last year, The Argus Appeal raised more than £130,000 for needy people in Sussex.
